Hello everybody, I've been reading about the snapped belts people find when unboxing the CraftBot. I was thinking and have a small suggestion that could help.

The problem: I think that belts snap due to powerful lateral shocks during transport. Most likely, the print head has some inertia and when a shock comes, this inertia causes large forces on the belts, causing them to snap on the little sheet-metal holder, which is where they are most stressed.

The solution: This could be prevented by taping the print head in place for transport, just like normal printers, where the print heads have the bright-colored sticky tape that has to be removed after unboxing. Once we get our Craftbot, we just remove the sticky tape and are good to go.

What do you think?
